English Heritage
The English Heritage website says; 'Local authorities ... have to notify English Heritage when they first receive applications affecting buildings of outstanding national interest, normally those listed Grade I and II*. Some authorities also let us know of applications involving full or partial demolition of Grade II buildings. They must also notify us of proposals involving their own buildings.'
Some local authorities apparently don't know this. So do it for them!

Campaign to Protect Rural England [CPRE]
You may like to visit their PlanningHelp website ... which has a useful news section, but otherwise a rather touching faith in the planning process!

The Georgian Group
If a development affects the fabric or setting of a Georgian building [built between 1714-1837], then this group will want to know. 'The Georgian Group is the charity dedicated to preserving Georgian buildings and gardens. Each year we are consulted on over 6,000 planning applications ...'

The Victorian Society
As above but for the Victorian era [1837-1901].
